We had a delicious breakfast! The server was friendly and attentive. Both omelettes were tasty and the home fries that came with them were good. They could have been a bit crispier. The brisket was savory and salty and had a nice flavor. The croissant was flaky, yet dense. The waffle is what you could expect, enjoyable. Lastly, the turkey bacon was good, wish more came with it! Overall, we had a wonderful breakfast and will be returning soon.
Don't understand all of the great reviews. Maybe, I will have to try it again. Server was very nice, but the water was warm....espresso was cold.....and my breakfast was cold. Don't know if they are preparing food and beverages first and then just warming them up???
NOTE: Changed rating because of the way the problem was handled. Please read on to the end. Reviewed them very highly last time (9 months ago)... Wow! what a change!! We were seated by a young man who asked what we wanted to drink and then we didn't see him again! Waited about 10-15 minutes and then walked out. The workers did not notice we walked out. They were not busy at all. This is not the way to do business. Very disappointed. Will think twice about coming back. UPDATE: The owner, Ron, addressed the problem. He is really a fine person and I am sure the situation will be remedied. We will be back. Every restaurant can have a bad day. Thank you, Ron.
My friend and I had lunch at Wooster Hollow Cafe on Route 7 in Ridgefield. We enjoyed our selections. I had the Cuban sandwich and took a quart of soup home. Manuel, our server, was great. Having lunch under the tent and with the heaters was enjoyable.
Stopped by for lunch on a work trip with co-workers. Service was great with friendly staff checking in every so often and the food was excellent. Unfortunately with our work trip being on a bit of a schedule, we were hoping to get our bill paid for a little quicker as it took some time for it to be picked up, but I can't really be upset with that due to the current pandemic. Loved the burger and the fries were fantastic. Definitely would recommend as a stop if you're in the area.
